Ethos

Ethos projects are not research programs and not products. Each one is a set of commitments about how something ought to work, built out as tools so the commitments have to survive contact with daily use. The argument is the software: if a stance about how data, memory, or code should behave is any good, the thing built on it should be better to live with than the alternative. This page collects those projects.
